"Taste the Freedom," is his mantra and with a heart bigger than Texas, Chef Otto Borsich kicks off Independence Gardens' pop-up dinner series - with proceeds benefitting our nutrition education programs!  

We're very excited to savor the 5 course dinner that reflects Chef's Otto's culinary playful and adventurous personality!  The $75 ticket price will include a signed copy of his new book A Chef is Born.  

About Chef Otto

An International Culinary Ambassador, his impressive career includes, an apprenticeship at the Pierre Hotel, Le Bernadin, Charlie Trotters, the Bellagio, the Atlantis, Chef Instructor at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, and was the Executive Chef at Central Market in Southlake.   Chef Otto's travels, adventure and spreading the gospel of all things food is the core of his spirit. He was the catalyst behind Childhood Hunger Day in Washington DC. In 1996 Chefs from throughout America converged on Capitol Hill for a 3-day symposium on hunger and poverty legislation with members of the U.S. House and Senate. His role as a contestant on Bravo’s Emmy Award winning show Top Chefprovides notoriety as he continues to be a champion against hunger. He has delivered a TEDx Talk titled, Be Present, Be Persistent and Use Your Gift, and is visible on You Tube. Having cooked around the globe for presidents, kings, queens, rock & roll royalty, moguls, mavericks, movie stars, and world-class athletes, his biggest thrill remains catering his 25th high school reunion.
